Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Audrea

Upon completion of the Dental Assisting Program in 1999, I joined the staff at Dr. Nevant’s office in March 2000. The thing I enjoy the most about my job is working on the patients at each visit and getting to know them and their families. I feel like my job is a part in helping people take pride in their smiles. It is always a special day at the end of treatment when patients get their braces off, seeing the beginning to end results. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my son. I also enjoy shopping!

Amy

I am the newest member of Dr. Nevant’s office. I joined the team in  Feb. of 2006. I started out working at the front desk and since August I’ve been working as a chair side assistant. I am blessed to get to work with such wonderful people ,not only the staff here but the patients as well. In my spare time I enjoy coaching cheerleading and spending time with my husband and two daughters.

Leslie

I have been with Dr. Nevant’s office since graduating from the Dental Assistant Program in 1997. I enjoy getting to know each and every patient and developing a relationship with them and the end result being a beautiful smile. My time outside of work is enjoyed with my husband and our beautiful daughter.

Kim
I have been with this practice for 18 years. I guess you could consider me a dinosaur. I have been a Treatment Coordinator for five years now, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy getting to know new patients and getting them familiarized with our office. Outside of the office, my biggest hobby is taking care of my family, which includes my husband and three wonderful children.

Janet

If you find a job you enjoy and work with people you love like family, then you should keep it. That is just what I have done. I have been here at Dr. Nevant’s office since 1983, after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Western Piedmont Community College. I do all the lab work in our office, from making retainers, Herbst appliances and other orthodontic appliances to pouring up impressions and finishing study models. In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting and spending time with my family and friends.

Shirley

My name is Shirley, and I am the new addition to the staff. I joined the team in May 2005. I finished the Dental Assisting Program at Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton, NC. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff and each member of our family of patients. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family.

Amy

I have worked for Dr. Nevant as an orthodontist assistant since early 2001. We have a great bunch of girls that make up just a fantastic team to work with on a daily basis. We have fun every day when we are together. I love my team! On a more personal note, I enjoy camping with my husband, Mike, and our dog, Val (she’s a min-pin). I like to watch a lot of reality TV, and I enjoy reading and taking naps (with Val) when I can. I also enjoy watching NASCAR --- Go Junior #8!

Tammy

My name is Tammy, and I have been with Dr. Nevant’s office since 1998. I guess you can call me the “dictator” since I do all the dictation/typing. My other duties include handling insurance, answering the telephone, scheduling and changing appointments, etc. I guess my biggest job is keeping my “up-front” co-worker Kathy straight. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Greg, in almost all outdoor activities. However, my very favorite thing to do is going shopping with my two daughters.
